Moonlighting Policy
Moonlighting, the practice of working for another organization in a separate job in addition to one’s current employment, is a fairly common practice these days. It’s especially frequent in technology, where people with varying skills and backgrounds may find their abilities in demand by multiple companies and in need of multiple streams of income to provide for themselves and their families.
The purpose of this policy from TechRepublic Premium is to provide guidelines for permissible employee moonlighting practices to establish expectations for both workers and organizations.

MOONLIGHTING POLICY DETAILS
Company obligations must come first even during off hours if the employee has a specific obligation to the organization to conduct work as needed. For example, if the employee is on-call and is contacted for emergency work, they must not refuse the obligation because they are occupied working for their secondary job.
